This Patch features the mythical Helm of Awe, also known as the Wegwisir, or “sign”. The word Wegwisir is written in Runes around the magical symbol of protection used by the early Vikings and in modern Asatru.  A vegvísir (Icelandic for sign post or wayfinder) is an Icelandic magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather.
